Stress affects us in many different ways. From headaches to clinching our jaws, to causing a cascade of events internally such as heart palpations and even diabetes. Stress is a “silent killer”. While some clients find stress relief in one treatment or service that we offer, some require a few different modalities to help “off-set” the affects of stress. Especially any individuals who may have survived through a trauma or have PTSD or C-PTSD. These clients have a Vagal Tone that needs lots of love, attention and soothing care. Helping our para-sympathetic nervous system to move us into rest and digest. Something we may not be in due to a tremendous amount of stress. In some cases, we don’t even know it.

Inside Mind Body Balance Breathe, our goal is to offer a variety of stress reducing techniques that are sure to help you find a since of balance and calm in your day to day life!

Reiki Meditation

There are many different Meditation Modalities.  Some can be described as "Energy Work" which can include Reiki, Reiki Meditation, Comfort Touch, Access Bars, Light Therapy, etc. These are all forms of relaxation modalities that help calm the mind, relax your stressed nerves and your body.  Giving you those moments back to being present IN the moments.  As Balance is achieved when you are truly present in the moment.  These are also great options to help heal your Vagal Tone, or Vagus Nerve!

Red Light Therapy

Medical Grade Red light therapy is a treatment for some common skin conditions, including but not limited to: -Improve wound healing. -Reduce stretch marks. -Reduce wrinkles, fine lines and age spots. -Improve facial texture. -Improve psoriasis, rosacea and eczema. -Improve sun-damaged skin. -increase circulation (great for soothing Neuropathy) RLT helps stimulate the mitochondria, the cell's energy-producing powerhouses. It has been shown that red light therapy increases energy output by enhancing mitochondrial function. This may have systemic effects since increased mitochondrial activity has positive effects on many bodily systems. Red light therapy has also reportedly been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It is likely that by decreasing regional inflammation, systemic inflammation levels may also be reduced, which would be advantageous for general health.

    An oxygen bar is a place where recipients can go to receive oxygen treatment, where oxygen is delivered via a concentrator and through a cannula tube that fits under the nose. Treatments last anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes at a time.

     If you experience a hangover, supplemental oxygen can help to counteract this blood vessel constriction and helps the blood vessels relax and open faster to their original size. It helps your body hasten the metabolization process.
