The Buffalo Cabin is a cozy, one-room cabin featuring three twin beds in a shared, dormitory-style layout (no bunk beds). The cabin is climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning and includes a mini fridge, coffee pot, and a small countertop appliance available for heating light meals or snacks. A vintage buffalo hide displayed inside the cabin adds a unique touch of character and warmth to the space.
The private bathhouse (for the Turkey and Buffalo Cabins) with toilets and shower is located just a few feet from the Buffalo cabin, offering convenient access. All linens, pillows, and bedding are provided; however, you are welcome to bring any additional blankets, pillows, or personal touches to make your space as comfortable and cozy as you’d like. Guests are always welcome to use the full kitchen in the main lodge for additional food/snack prep or storage.
Like the Turkey Cabin, the Buffalo Cabin is situated slightly downhill from the main lodge, offering a bit more privacy and seclusion while remaining closer to the gathering pavilion. Access to the main lodge does require a gradual uphill walk. For some, this will feel like a light stroll; for others, it may feel more substantial depending on mobility levels. We encourage guests to consider their comfort with gentle inclines when selecting this cabin.
Parking is available just a few feet from the Buffalo Cabin as well.
