The Museum Cabin offers a spacious, one-room layout featuring three twin beds in a shared dormitory-style setting (no bunk beds), along with a vintage couch seating area. The cabin is climate-controlled with heating and air conditioning and includes a mini fridge, coffee pot, and a small countertop appliance for heating light meals or snacks. Inside, you’ll find beautiful handmade quilts and a mounted buffalo display that add warmth and character to the space.
A partially wraparound, covered deck extends from the cabin, offering a private outdoor seating area to relax, journal, or simply take in the surrounding trees and scenery. This space provides a peaceful place to unwind between retreat activities.
The cabin includes a private half bath (toilet only). A shower and additional restroom facilities are located approximately 30 feet away in the main lodge. Guests are always welcome to use the full kitchen in the main lodge for any additional meal prep, snacks, or specific dietary needs.
The Museum Cabin is one of the closest cabins to the main lodge, making it one of the most accessible options on the property. The path to the lodge is primarily flat and follows an asphalt driveway or walkway. Access to the gathering pavilion involves a very slight downhill grade. For most guests, this will feel like a very easy walk; however, walking distances can feel different depending on individual mobility levels. Overall, this cabin offers the easiest access to the central retreat spaces.
